Who we are

Flamewave Studios is an independent game studio operated by Jason Griggs from Australia. The studio publishes iOS games and operates the website at flamewave.tech.

The game in one sentence

Stock Tycoon Sim is a single-player market simulation. Companies, prices, news, and portfolios in the game are fictional. It is not a brokerage, not a bank, and not a way to trade real securities. We do not ask for, and the game is not designed to collect, real financial account numbers, tax file numbers, or government identity documents.

What we collect

As of 19 August 2026, Stock Tycoon Sim does not require you to create an account with Flamewave Studios. We do not operate a Flamewave login, and we do not insert third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the build described by this policy. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the change ships.

• Game progress, settings, and watchlists (or equivalent save data) are stored on your device.
• If a future version offers optional iCloud or Game Center features, Apple will process the identifiers those services need. That processing is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy.
• If the game offers in-app purchases, Apple processes the payment. We receive limited purchase records from Apple (for example, that a product was bought) so we can unlock the content. We do not receive your full card number.
• Apple may provide crash diagnostics and device information through App Store Connect or Xcode. We use that to fix bugs.
• If you email support, we receive your email address and the contents of the message.

What we do not collect

We do not sell personal information. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not collect precise location for Stock Tycoon Sim. We do not collect real-world portfolio, brokerage, or banking data.

• Simulated cash, simulated holdings, and simulated P&L stay in the game. They are not your real money.
• Fictional tickers and headlines are generated content, not a data feed from your accounts.

How we use information

Device save data is used to run the game. Crash and diagnostics data is used to maintain it. Email is used to support you and to handle privacy requests. We do not use Stock Tycoon Sim data to advertise third-party products to you.

Sharing

We share information with Apple because the game is distributed through the App Store, and with our website host if you open this policy in a browser. We share information if the law requires it. We do not sell it.

Retention and deletion

Save data lives on your device until you delete the app or clear it in-game. Uninstalling the app deletes local saves unless Apple has stored a copy through a service you opted into, such as iCloud. Support email is kept long enough to resolve the request and keep a reasonable record. You can ask us to delete correspondence we control by writing to privacy@flamewave.tech.

Children

Stock Tycoon Sim is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email privacy@flamewave.tech and we will delete it.

International users

The studio is based in Australia. If you play from another country, your information may be processed in Australia and in countries where Apple and our host operate. Where a privacy law gives you rights of access, correction, deletion, or complaint, email privacy@flamewave.tech. Australian users may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if they are not satisfied with our response.

Your privacy choices

You can use the game without creating a Flamewave account. You can disable optional Apple services such as Game Center in iOS settings. You can request deletion of personal information we hold by emailing us. Because we do not run a Flamewave user database for this game, most play data never leaves your device.

Changes

If we add accounts, analytics, advertising, or new third-party SDKs, we will update this policy and the date above before that version is released. Continued use of a new version after the update constitutes notice that the new policy applies to that version.
